Gun Violence and the Death Penalty

University YMCA - Latzer Hall

"A Victim's Conscience on Gun Violence and the Death 
Penalty" is the topic of Jennifer Bishop-Jenkins's 
talk at the University YMCA this Friday, October 21 
at noon in Latzer Hall. The event is free and open 
to everyone.  Lunch is available for $5.50 ($3 for 
students) by reservation at (217) 337-1500.

Jennifer Bishop-Jenkins is the Midwest Field Director
of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and 
Founding Board Member of Murder Victims' Families for 
Human Rights. Since the murder of her sister, 
brother-in-law, and their unborn child 15 years ago, 
Jennifer Bishop-Jenkins has been working tirelessly to 
educate the world about the effects of the death 
penalty on victims and society. Integrating her vast 
human rights experiences, she will be discussing the 
entire range of criminal justice issues as matters
