[ACLU-CU ALERT] 10 Rules for Dealing with Police

[Champaign County ACLU Announcements]

One of Champaign County ACLU's new Steering Committee members, Barbara Kessel, has arranged for Urbana Public Television (Cable TV Channel 6) to air "10 Rules for Dealing with Police" on these dates:

 

Wednesday, April 28 at 8:00 p.m.

Friday, April 30 at 10:00 p.m.

Wednesday, May 5 at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 8 at 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, May 27 at 8:00 p.m.

 

Our chapter purchased 10 copies and, thanks to Barbara, many are already in the hands of high school teachers who are showing them to their classes.   This is important information for people of all ages but it is especially important for young people to see this film to learn how to interact with police in a manner that will not get them shot or sprayed with mace or hit with a taser electric shock.
