Examining the Criminal Justice System: The Case of Troy Davis

Come join us for another Hot Topics Dialogue as we use the case of Troy
 Anthony Davis as a point of departure for examining and problematizing 
the criminal justice system in the United States. Participants are 
invited to engage panelists in dialogue to ask critical questions about 
the prison-industrial complex (PIC), criminal courts, and the 
skyrocketing numbers of Americans in prison and on death row. What 
conclusions can we draw about the racialized and gendered implications 
of the system? How can we create change? What alternative systems can we
 imagine?
