[ACLU-CU ALERT] Take Action for pro-choice vote in IL House

 Tomorrow (Feb.8), the Illinois House Human Services Committee will hold a hearing  on an important pro-choice bill:   House Bill 40.  Please submit your witness slip (link below) to support House Bill 40



HB 40 will repeal the 1975 Illinois law that automatically makes all abortions and some birth control illegal, if the Supreme Court reverses or modifies the Roe v. Wade decision.   That's a serious risk these days.   The legislation also restores coverage for abortion under the state Medicaid program and state employees' health insurance.
