[Champaign County ACLU Announcements]

Dear ACLU Members,

Thanks to everyone who helped stuff envelopes last night! Watch for your
invitation to the April 2 annual meeting to arrive shortly in the mail. *PLEASE

*Join us Sunday March 12 4-7*
at the Independent Media Center, Urbana, when we and other community and
activist groups come together for

*Challenging State Violence: Community Strategies and Tactics* -- a
discussion of issues of education, borders, surveillance, incarceration,
and community alternatives, exploration of how we can work together, and
planning for our next steps.

ACLU will have a table and we'll be working on Illinois state legislation
we are backing and opposing. If you'd like to volunteer at the table, email
info at aclu-cu.org. Hope to see you there!
