[ACLU-CU ALERT] Illinois Bail reform

[Champaign County ACLU Announcements]

The ACLU Illinois supports bail reform and the phasing out of money bail.
Bail is to assure that you show up in court. The current system has
devastating impact on poor families.  If someone is too dangerous, the
remedy is to deny bail, not to set the bail high.

The ACLU Illinois provides a link to support bail reform from its partner
organization.  Note that you can either write your own comment or simply
use the standard response that pops up.
