IF you can file a witness slip as an *OPPONENT* TO HOUSE BILL 5058
*before 4:00 pm TUESDAY March 22,* please do!
This bill has come up *again *for a hearing so if you have already filed
once, that WITNESS SLIP won't be counted this time.

*This bill would create a new felony for "tampering with" an Electronic
Monitoring (EM) device. Existing law already addresses tampering. People
should not be re-incarcerated because the battery on their device failed or
the GPS located them incorrectly.*
