This bill would strip a range of federal funds from a state like Illinois that
does not use its resources to enforce civil immigration law. The bill
specifically targets federal funding for "food, shelter, healthcare
services, legal services, and transportation" received by a state but
leaves the door open to "any" funding being cut.
