will present* *"Advocacy 101"* training on Illinois Legislative Advocacy.
The training will include *how a bill becomes law in Illinois; how to find
your elected and appointed officials and how to talk to them; how to
navigate the Illinois General Assembly website, and how to file witness
slips. I*f you aren't familiar with the Illinois legislative process or if
you want a refresher, please join us. *Legislation in Illinois and other
states is critically important. Come learn how to be a part of it!*
