The bill requires entities to be more transparent with consumers about their data collection practices, publishing a health data policy that discloses the specific health data being collected and why it is collected. *You can also call your State Senator at 1-872-312-9779 and ask them to pass SB 3222!* *The SECURE Act* The SECURE Act (HB 4966 ) seeks to ensure that children and youth in DCFS care are able to receive access to the healthcare they’re entitled to under Illinois law, even if they’re out of state, as well to establish an accountability mechanism to ensure that these youth are protected from discrimination. The bill has already passed the Illinois House of Representatives and is now pending a floor vote in the Illinois Senate.
