[Champaign County ACLU Announcements]

The Safe Schools Project is about creating a safe environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered students in public schools.   ACLU chapters in Peoria and Bloomington-Normal have launched Safe Schools Projects and we'd like to get one going in Champaign-Urbana schools as well. Come to an organizing meeting at ACLU Steering Committee member Carol Inskeep's home: Thursday, December 115:30 p.m.606 EAST High Street (High & Anderson) in Urbana Whether or not you have children in local schools or are a teacher, if this project interests you, please join us next Thursday.
