[Champaign County ACLU Announcements]

On November 3, 2008, the County Board’s Justice and Social Services Committee
Last month, the Champaign County Board's Justice and Social Services Committee created a Citizens Advisory Committee on Jury Selection for the county.  Under-representation of African American citizens on local juries is one of several concerns about jury selection in Champaign County that would be of special interest to ACLU members.  Applications are now available for membership on the Committee.  ACLU members Tom Betz (current County Board member) and Jennifer Putman (recently retired County Board member) shared these links with me for your information:
