[ACLU-CU ALERT] Jan. 27 Film "How to Die in Oregon"

[Champaign County ACLU Announcements]

The Champaign County chapter of American Civil Liberties Union is co-sponsoring with the Unitarian Universalist Church Death With Dignity Group a showing of the documentary "How to Die in Oregon."  This film won the grand jury prize for documentary at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.   It explores the topic of death with dignity and end of life options.

A goal of Death with Dignity Group to pass legislation in Illinois, similar to Oregon law, that would expand end of life options including assisted suicide.
